Work Incentive Support Center (WISC)

WISC provides training for benefits planners about government disability benefits and work incentives.

Become credentialed as a work incentive practitioner with this online program, which includes core training in Social Security and other disability benefits and work incentives, as well as add-on training with a focus on youth and Veterans. New in 2025: leadership training for managers and supervisors of work incentives planners.

Other offerings include continuing education classes aimed at those who need to maintain a credential, the Disability Benefits at Work website, and the SSI Calculations Worksheet.

DWDC provides a wide range of professional development opportunities to practitioners supporting individuals with disabilities seeking competitive integrated employment.

Advance your knowledge and skills! Find training tailored for job coaches, job developers, supported employment specialists, workforce development professionals, vocational evaluators and assessment specialists, career exploration and guidance experts, vocational rehabilitation counselors, community-based assessment professionals, employment program administrators and supervisors, and disability benefits specialists.
